With five locations in Reno, plus one more apiece in Woodland, California, and South Jordan, Utah, Crazy D’s Hot Chicken is a family-run, Nevada-born business currently expanding through franchising. Now the next stop on the expansion path looks to be Vegas. Licensing paperwork was submitted to Clark County by Crazy Ds Hot Chicken Las Vegas LLC for a new Crazy D’s Hot Chicken at 5840 S Rainbow Blvd.

The Crazy D’s menu features Giant Chicken Combos with five flavor profiles—Country Style, Mild, Medium, Hot, and Crazy!—which bring together Giant Tenders, Giant Sliders, and Fries. There are also Smash Burgers like the OG (Smashed patty, cheese, pickles, Crazy D’s sauce) and the Infernal Jalapeno (Smashed spicy patty, Swiss cheese, grilled onions, jalapenos, Crazy D’s sauce).

“We are a family-run business, and we have a lot of pride in our heritage and the quality of our products,” says the Crazy D’s website. “Our goal is to provide our customers with great service and delicious, fresh, home-cooked chicken. We enjoy delighting everyone with our delicious combos, boxes, and baskets of high-quality chicken tenders and sliders.”

What Now reached out to franchisee Dimitri Kaganovitch to ask about plans for the opening; Kaganovitch was not immediately available for comment on news of a new Crazy D’s planned for Las Vegas.
