A brand-new fried chicken spot is preparing to open its doors: Louie Louie Fried Chicken Fingers, Wings, Fries. The new chicken brand will debut at 4412 N Rancho Drive.

If the name sounds familiar, that may because Louie Louie Fried Chicken is another concept from chef Luis Alvarez, the culinary force behind popular Las Vegas food Truck Louie Louie to Go—a fun, roving mix of hibachi and sushi you may have tried before. Now, Alvarez is taking on chicken.

“It’s going to be fried chicken, tenders, wings, milkshakes, taking over the old Chicken Shack spot,” Alvarez told What Now on Friday.

There will also be a few hints at the restaurant’s sister concept, Alvarez said, with items like teriyaki chicken also making an appearance, who has made a name for himself mixing various cuisines to make something new.

“Louie Louie to Go is basically a fusion of Japanese and Mexican. We’ve been doing that for over four years.”

And now this local chef is taking things in a new direction. Keep an eye out for Louie Louie Fried Chicken opening at North Rancho Drive and West Craig Road.
