A new boba tea shop looks to be opening near Trop Canyon Plaza, the retail center on the northeast corner of South Grand Canyon Drive and Tropicana Avenue. Licensing paperwork was submitted by JJ Boba LLC for a restaurant at 9780 W Tropicana Ave.
Details on JJ Boba have not yet been revealed. What Now reached out to owner Junfang Zhou to inquire about plans for the opening. Zhou declined to make any immediate comment on the project.
This does leave us guessing on the specifics of the boba shop’s menu offerings. Will the menu include any food items, for example? What Now is awaiting more information.
Opening alongside Trop Canyon Plaza, JJ Boba would join a food and beverage community that includes Juan’s Flaming Fajitas & Cantina, In-N-Out Burger, and Senza Gluten Free Bakery. The location in question is currently home to Sparkle Car Wash.
