Charleys Cheesesteaks is bringing another sandwich shop to North Las Vegas. Signs are already up at the new North Las Vegas location that sits at 4372 West Craig Road.
At the helm of the opening is LV Petroleum, which operates a host of eateries throughout the Las Vegas Valley. What Now Las Vegas briefly chatted with Sr. Vice President of Food and Franchise Brands for the company, Jeanette Davis, who confirmed the opening. Unfortunately, Davis was unable to share further details by the time of this publication.
“Our locations proudly partner with popular restaurants to provide customers with convenient access to their favorite meals. Sbarro, KFC, and Black Bear Diner are only some of the well known brands we offer. Our wide range of restaurant partners allows us to provide delicious meals to satisfy any craving,” the LV Petroum website reads.
“Whatever you’re in the mood for, our on-site restaurant partners offer the speed and convenience of your favorite fast food spots right inside our locations.”
Charleys Philly Steaks, originally known as Charley’s Steakery and Charley’s Grilled Subs, was founded in 1986 by Charley Shin on the campus of The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. Shin debuted a modest 450-square-foot restaurant near the university campus, which quickly became a hit among college students. Following rapid popularity, Shin launched a franchise model. The brand expanded globally, partnering with the Army & Air Force Exchange Service starting in 1999 to open locations on military installations worldwide.
“Charleys Cheesesteaks is serving our favorite cheesesteaks, fries, and real-fruit lemonades at every Charleys. Select locations also serve classic and boneless wings, fried appetizers, and frozen shakes. With Charley Catering you can also enjoy our cheesesteaks and wings in your home or office,” the Charleys website reads.
“No matter the name, we’ve stayed committed to quality over the past 30 years.”
There are now more than 850 to 950 Charleys Cheesesteaks locations across the United States and in over 17 countries worldwide, with 13 in the state of Nevada. The upcoming opening will be the second location in North Las Vegas.

Charleys Cheesesteaks is anticipated to open in North Las Vegas at 4372 West Craig Road this fall.
