The Athletic Club is set to be the centerpiece of the planned Athletics MLB ballpark in Las Vegas. The steakhouse and lounge is planned to open in the $2 billion ballpark at 3801 S Las Vegas Blvd once the stadium is completed and opens in Spring 2028, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s Neon Blog.
The ballpark is currently under construction on the former Tropicana site on the Las Vegas Strip. The new eatery will provide an all-inclusive hospitality experience with a gourmet restaurant, supper club, and lounge behind home plate for premium season-ticket holders. Marketed as “the most exclusive space,” with all-inclusive food, beer, wine, and private bathrooms, the new restaurant will have capacity to seat nearly 300 guests. The stadium seats 33,000.
At the helm of the opening is famed restaurateur and former co-owner of Eleven Madison Park, a Michelin three-starred restaurant in New York City, Will Guidara. What Now Las Vegas reached out to Guidara to find out more about the exclusive dining experience. Unfortunately, we did not hear back by the time of this publication.
“The A’s have created a remarkable design that adds to the rich fabric of must-see attractions in Las Vegas,” said Bally’s Chairman Soo Kim in a press release about the ballpark’s design.
“This is a once-in-a-generation project, and we are thrilled for the opportunity to develop a comprehensive site plan at this iconic location. We look forward to sharing more on our plan in due course.”
Menu items are slated to feature steakhouse standards with dishes like shrimp cocktail, 14-ounce New York strip steak, creamed spinach, turtle cheesecake, and more.
