The Baked Bear, a popular dessert shop, is set to open in the Las Vegas Valley. According to an Instagram post from the Town Square Mall, the outdoor mall is getting something cool this fall. The Baked Bear is expected to open at 6605 S Las Vegas Blvd.
The custom, made-to-order ice cream sandwich shop already has the upcoming Town Square opening listed as “Coming Soon!” on the brand’s website.
What Now Las Vegas reached out to The Baked Bear co-owner and operator, Robbie Robbins, to find out more about the exciting expansion. Unfortunately, we did not hear back by the time of this publication.
“The Baked Bear offers over a dozen baked-from-scratch, original-recipe cookies and ice cream flavors, giving guests a chance to mix and match cookies or brownies for their top and bottom while choosing their favorite ice cream in the middle,” The Baked Bear website reads.
“Before they are served, guests can choose if they want their sandwich rolled in toppings and get their sandwich warmed up.”

The Baked Bear was founded in San Diego, California, in 2013 by childhood friends Robbins and Shane Stange. Inspired by Rob’s favorite childhood dessert, the pair decided to focus on handcrafted, build-your-own ice cream sandwiches. They opened their inaugural location in the Pacific Beach neighborhood of San Diego in May 2013, instantly drawing long lines.
“From day 1 to the present day, they have been pleasantly surprised to find lines down the street and have won the hearts of locals and tourists that have drawn accolades from Forbes, Eater, Thrillist, and more,” the company’s website reads.
“Since 2013, The Baked Bear has expanded to many stores across the country, always with the same mentality, serving the best tasting ice cream sandwiches in a fun atmosphere while providing the best customer service possible!”
Today, The Baked Bear has nearly 35 locations across the United States.
