Super Mario is coming to the Historic Westside. According to a City of Las Vegas permit, the automotive repair and detailing shop is expected to open at 1960 N Martin L King Blvd.
The property is most famously known as the home of Mario’s Westside Market, a long-standing community staple celebrated for its grocery selection and Southern-style comfort food, including its legendary fried catfish. Over time, the commercial building has also accommodated other retail and local service tenants.
Super Mario will open its doors in good company. The space, located at a prominent signalized corner in the Historic Westside of Las Vegas, is also home to Bin City and Tint Broz Window Films.
What Now Las Vegas briefly spoke with Super Mario owner Jose Pena, who confirmed the opening and shared that interested parties can expect to have Super Mario as a walk-in option by this summer.
The name of the new shop is pretty popular. Besides being best known as the popular video game, there are many Super Mario car repair and detailing shops throughout the country. A local professional auto detailing job that was working mobile around town is likely the same concept. Super Mobile Auto Detailing Las Vegas was just a call or text away; now you’ll be able to pull in to the Historic Westside’s popular retail to get your car serviced.
No word just yet on whether the two are indeed connected. But it is highly likely. With no other website and/or social media pages, it’s hard to say what other auto services the new mechanic shop will offer. But as we inch closer towards opening, we’re sure all will be revealed. So, keep your eyes peeled and your ears perked for the latest.
Super Mario is anticipated to open in the Historic Westside at 1960 N Martin L King Blvd this summer.
