Food truck business Aloha Fridays is opening a Hawaiian restaurant called Ohana’s Kitchen. It will be located on 11301 W Olympic Blvd in unit 122.
Owner Rosa Mota told What Now Los Angeles, “Ross Tsuneda was the first owner of Aloha Fridays, but I bought the food truck business from him in 2013 and have owned it since, operating it with the help of my family, making it a family business. We wanted to expand our business and created Ohana’s Kitchen by Aloha Fridays.”
Focused on serving authentic Hawaiian food, they aim to share “beautiful food from a beautiful place.”
Although a menu hasn’t been announced yet, their food truck is known for options such as teriyaki dishes, garlic shrimp, poke bowls, a pork plate, various rolls, a hawaiian burger, and a handful of desserts. There’s a half a grilled Pineapple topped with a mix of proteins, rice, macaroni salad, and green salad as well. For another “authentic island snack,” you’ll also find fried Spam on top of rice wrapped in nori.
As of now, an exact opening date has not been shared.
