Fish Taco Xtreme, a fast-food restaurant serving tacos, burritos, seafood dishes, and Mexican favorites, is working on a second location at 15074 Foothill Blvd, Suite A, in Fontana.
The company, led by owner Hilario Hernandez, recently submitted a liquor license application for the Fontana location, which would replace Alex’s Tacos’ current home. While the company has not announced an exact opening date, the application confirms plans for the new location.
Fish Taco Xtreme currently operates at 16960 Van Buren Boulevard, Suite D, in Riverside. The restaurant’s menu includes soft tacos featuring asada, pollo, pastor, lengua, cabeza, fish, shrimp, and chorizo. The menu also includes hard shell tacos, quesadillas, tortas, burritos, mulitas, sopes, huaraches, nachos, and fries.
Seafood makes up a significant part of the menu, with options including fish and shrimp tacos, fish and shrimp burritos, fish tostadas, camarones rancheros, camarones al mojo de ajo, camarones a la diabla, fried mojarra, and aguachiles. Customers can also order caldo de camarón, caldo de pescado, caldo 7 mares, and several seafood cocktails.
The Riverside restaurant also serves breakfast, with bacon and eggs, ham and eggs, chorizo and eggs, asada and eggs, potato and eggs, and chilaquiles available as burritos or plates. Daily specials listed on the company’s website include a Wednesday mojarra special and a two-taco combination served with rice, beans, and a drink.
The Fontana location would give Fish Taco Xtreme a second restaurant in the Inland Empire. The company has not announced additional details about the buildout or an opening date, but the liquor license application provides an early indication of plans for the Foothill Boulevard location.
