Metro Cafe will be bringing a location this summer to Santa Monica at 1920 Santa Monica Blvd (toddrickallen.com spotted the signage). This location will mark the third for the local brand, joining existing spots in Culver City and El Segundo.

Owner Sasa Stankovic told What Now Los Angeles that the team will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner in the 2,900-square-foot space. Stankovic and the team were drawn to the Santa Monica location due to proximity to the Gateway Hotel Santa Monica located at the same address as well as local residential communities. He hopes to offer a neighborhood cafe option with affordable dishes.

“We do want to be more in the Beach Cities,” Stankovic said. “As you go into different communities, you get different opportunities.”

The menu features breakfast items such as avocado toast and omelettes; burgers; meat; pastas; coffee; and juice.

“We’re super excited to be there,” Stankovic said. “We’re going to try to bring something different.”
