California winery Sabelli-Frisch Wines is gearing up to open its first tasting room and wine bar. It will unveil the new space this fall at 5122 York Blvd in Highland Park. Owner Adam Sabelli Frisch told What Now Los Angeles that he is aiming for an October opening.
The new spot will offer wine tastings and flights specifically from Sabelli-Frisch Wines. There will not be any prepared foods on site, but perhaps some pre-packaged snacks.
The 450-square-foot space will offer a wine library atmosphere, with wine bottles on the shelves around the wine bar. It will feature a long bar and seating indoors as well as in the backyard and in front of the wine bar.
Frisch launched his winery nearly a decade ago, focusing on low-impact wines and historic California grape varieties made in an Old World style. The winery offers varieties ranging from cabernet sauvignon to sparkling white wines.
