Superba Food + Bread, known for its seasonally driven, all-day menu and in-house bakery program, will open a new restaurant and café in Calabasas at 4719 Commons Way Suite G.

The company’s fifth brick-and-mortar is set to replace The Kingdom in The Commons at Calabasas, next to Polacheck’s Jewelers, according to Conejo Valley Guide. Superba Food + Bread plans to open this new location in early 2025, offering freshly baked breads and pastries from Superba’s Bakehouse and new dishes distinct to Calabasas. A full beverage program featuring craft cocktails, wine, locally sourced beer, spritzes, and non-alcoholic options will be available to complement the menu.

Superba is working with the award-winning Klein Agency on the new 2,500-square-foot restaurant with a 1,500-square-foot patio. Details include a 27-foot-high ceiling, stone and marble tabletops, and various textures such as stucco, aluminum, and vintage reclaimed redwood. The cafe is inspired by European cafes and brings an edgy vibe to Calabasas. The all-day eatery, with warm tones, lush greenery, and an expansive patio, reflects the relaxed nature of the Superba experience.

“We are a community born of the belief that the good things in life ought to be shared and that great food should be accessible to all who seek it,” according to the company’s website. “Our superba spaces are equal parts bakeries, cafés, and neighborhood meet-up spots where you’re sure to either bump into someone you know or to make a new friend. We are proud to bring integrity to our food, our design, and our people, and are committed to sharing these lovely things with our community.”
