Dallas-based EōS Fitness has multiple locations in the works in the Los Angeles area. In addition to a gym opening in Canoga Park, EōS will open a West Hollywood location at 8000 W Sunset Blvd, according to the gym’s website. It is expected to open in 2027 or 2028.
The rapidly expanding fitness brand has strongholds in Florida and Texas as well as in major cities including Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City and Phoenix. EōS opened nine new gyms across the country in Q2 of this year, including spots in Long Beach and San Bernardino.
The West Hollywood location, formerly home to a Crunch Fitness, will offer an elevated gym called EōS Lux. Following a $6 million renovation, it will feature amenities including a cold plunge, a hot tub, an infrared sauna, and a high-intensity recovery area called The Tank with massagers, compression boots and stretch tables. There will also be technology integrations including EōS Smart Strength and Gainiac AI powered by EGYM.
An on-site juice bar will offer nutrition-driven drinks.
“This EōS Sunset Boulevard location represents a powerful new era in health and fitness as we bring something entirely new to West Hollywood,” EōS Fitness CEO Rich Drengberg said in a previous announcement. “This legendary location anchors our continued expansion across Los Angeles’ core neighborhoods. We’re proud to deliver another Lux experience and to partner with Kimco Realty again to create a next-level fitness destination that reflects the energy of one of the most vibrant communities in the country.”
EōS offers strength training equipment, free weights, group fitness classes and coaching. The brand recently announced that it plans to experiment with reformers Pilates offerings and has been rolling out AI-driven smart equipment at certain gym locations.
The brand currently has 225 gyms either already open or in development, with additional openings expected to take place over the next couple of years.
