An authentic Cuban restaurant will soon open near Bartlett.

Habana Club Restaurant is planning to launch at 6110 Macon Rd in the Shelby Crossing shopping center, as indicated by recent permits filed with the city. Owner Roberto Ferie, who will co-manage the restaurant with a partner, confirmed this news with What Now Memphis.

Ferie said that Habana Club will provide a laid-back yet lively atmosphere where guests can enjoy classic Cuban fare. The menu will feature generous platters of grilled meats, black beans, plantains, and Cuban sandwiches.

“We’ve got a cafeteria with all Cuban dishes,” Ferie said excitedly. “Authentic—it’s all Cuban.”

Construction is underway, and Habana Club Restaurant is slated to open in January 2025.
