Move over surf and turf. Seafood royalty and a chicken powerhouse are joining forces to prove that fish and fowl are the new dynamic duo. Lobster King Seafood and Wings is opening a new Cordova location in a space shared with A1 Wings & Things, allowing both concepts to shine and delight visitors with their distinctive fare.

Lobster King announced the team-up via social media post in late April. The Facebook announcement states: “We’re excited to announce that we’ve teamed up with A1 Wings & Things at 420 S Germantown Pkwy #108, Cordova, TN 38018. We’re bringing our famous Cajun Seafood into their kitchen to create the ultimate Cordova flavor destination.”

It is not yet clear when the merger will be completed and visitors will be able to enjoy the fruits of the union. Lobster King’s post said only that the new location is “coming soon”. The restaurant currently has both a sign permit and a certificate of occupancy application under review with the Memphis and Shelby County Division of Planning and Development, giving locals further cause for excitement.

Lobster King Seafood and Wings has a location open and operational at Hacks Cross in Olive Branch. As the name suggests, the concept specializes in seafood with a Cajun flavor. The website explains: ”Your dream of seafood indulgence has come true at Lobster King Cajun Seafood & Wings. From the ocean to your table, we bring to you snow crab legs, lobster tails, shrimp, mussels, clams, and calamari that are so yummy and juicy, all under affordable prices.”
