The Memphis Mexican food scene is about to get a little tastier. El Agave is bringing “bold flavors, fresh ingredients, refreshing drinks, and the warm hospitality that makes every visit special” to the area soon.

El Agave, opening at 5007 Black Road, has been drumming up excitement for its Memphis home via social media. While an opening date has not been announced, the restaurant has begun recruiting staff. Over the past couple of weeks, El Agave’s posts have become more frequent and offer peaks at what the menu will include, all while assuring future regulars that the restaurant is “coming soon”.

Memphians got their first indication that the Mexican eatery is nearing completion on June 27, when El Agave stated on its Facebook page: “Something delicious is coming to Memphis! The wait is almost over! El Agave Mexican Grill + Bar is getting ready to open its doors, bringing you authentic Mexican flavors, handcrafted drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere you’ll love. Get ready to make unforgettable memories over incredible food and great company.”

Future customers hungry for details can look forward to amazing margaritas, authentic Mexican cuisine, and some truly unforgettable chicken wings.
