A popular Mississippi restaurant concept is preparing to bring its delicious Mediterranean flavors to even more hungry diners. Aplós Simple Mediterranean is getting ready to launch its third location, this time in Oxford.
Already a hit in Jackson and Ridgeland, Aplós Simple Mediterranean will be making its Oxford debut at 803 Sisk Avenue. Founder Chef Alex Eaton kindly made some time to confirm to What Now Memphis that he is aiming to open the restaurant the weekend of July 17, “assuming we stay on schedule with the final construction and inspections.”
Eaton and his team are enthusiastic about bringing Aplós’s beloved cuisine to a new market. He states: “We’re excited to bring Aplós to Oxford and introduce our take on fresh, high-quality Mediterranean food to the community. The restaurant has been designed to be a place where students, families, and locals can gather for everything from a quick lunch to dinner and drinks. We think it’ll be a great addition to Oxford’s dining scene.”
Aplós promises to be more than just a restaurant but a true neighbor to the Oxford community. Eaton previously stated: “For me, it’s not enough to have good food and a good-looking brand. We want to be woven into the community fabric, partnering with schools, giving students work experience, and showing up where it matters.”
Make no mistake, however; the food will indeed be memorable and delicious. The Aplós menu is full of delicious Mediterranean options, ranging from hummus bowls, to Greek wings, to chicken shawarma and beyond.
