A popular adage advises folks to “smoke ‘em if you’ve got ‘em”, and while the phrase may not be intended to be taken literally, it looks like Memphis is getting a home to do just that. A new concept called Da Higher Note Cigar Bar has filed papers to set up shop on East Brooks Road.
Da Higher Note is aiming to open at 1056 East Brooks Road. Owner Tiron Hart has filed for a certificate of occupancy with the Memphis and Shelby County Division of Planning and Development for the storefront which remains under review as of September 24.
There is not presently a great deal of information available about Da Higher Note; the certificate of occupancy application offers a few small clarifying specifics. The establishment, described as a “cigar bar/restaurant”, will span 300 square feet and will have an occupant load of 25.
Da Higher Note does not yet have a digital presence. Owner Tiron Hart is not a stranger to hospitality, however. Hart previously launched Da Juicy Grill.
