Get excited, Memphis coffee enthusiasts; a caffeinated new day is just over the horizon. Ritual Bistro, a new cafe concept coming to South Main Street, has set an opening date, and it’s so close you can nearly smell the java brewing.

Ritual’s arrival has been hotly anticipated. The eatery is taking over the 505 South Main Street storefront that previously housed Bluff City Coffee, bringing java back to the community.

Ritual is actively recruiting staff for the bistro and-most excitingly-has established an opening date. Future regulars will be able to enjoy their first taste of Ritual’s food and drink on May 27. Once opened, the concept will be greeting guests from 7 am to 2 pm, Mondays through Fridays, and from 8 am to 2 pm on Saturdays. The cafe will be closed on Sundays.

Described as “A new place to connect on South Main.”, that will be providing “Coffee. Cocktails. Connections.”, Ritual has its Instagram page up and running. Excited locals can follow along to get glimpses of what’s in store when the cafe opens. Ritual promises to become an essential part of Memphis’s fabric; as a social media post states: “great cities deserve great spaces. Ritual is our contribution, a place to gather, unwind, and be part of something bigger than your daily routine.”
