One of Memphis’s favorite food trucks will soon be preparing its beloved fare in a new, permanent kitchen. Smoking LeRoy’s is getting ready to welcome customers to its first brick and mortar, located in Top Gun Memphis.

Smoking LeRoy’s is taking over the 2770 Whitten Road space last occupied by Fox Ridge Pizza. Owners Lee and Jeannie Hobbs kindly spoke with What Now Memphis about launching this new venture, saying: “The food truck helped introduce Smoking LeRoys to the community. The restaurant is where we’re taking it to the next level.”

Hobbs assures existing fans of Smoking LeRoy’s that they can rest easy knowing the restaurant will be run with the same care and quality as the food truck. Old fans and new can look forward to “slow-smoked BBQ, hearty Southern comfort food, breakfast favorites, fresh sandwiches, homemade sides, and plenty of big flavor. Everything is made with the same passion, personality, and love that helped build the Smoking LeRoy’s name.”

Fans of the food truck needn’t worry; Lee and Jeannie state that the truck will still be in operation around the local community and available for private events.

Smoking LeRoy’s is hoping to open before the end of August. Be sure to follow the concept’s Facebook page “for updates, specials, opening information, and a first look at what’s coming.”

Smoking LeRoy’s is an exciting evolution for the popular eatery; Hobbs states: “Born from a passion for great food and the seasoning and sauce company Southern Greek Flavors, Smoking LeRoys has grown from a food-truck dream into a brand with big plans. Now, that journey is taking the next exciting step—a restaurant where guests can sit down, relax, and enjoy their favorites.”
