A sophisticated speakeasy is set to open soon in downtown Memphis.
The Juke Speakeasy will occupy the downstairs space of Biscuits & Jams’ second location. This new spot recently opened in Hotel Indigo at 24 N B.B. King Blvd.
According to its Instagram bio, The Juke will cater to patrons 25 and older, offering handcrafted cocktails, small plates, live entertainment, and more.
Monique Williams, owner of Biscuits & Jams, opened the first eatery in Bartlett Station in 2021, offering Southern-style breakfast, brunch, and lunch, as well as a variety of vegan options. Building on that success, she launched the second location at Hotel Indigo this past May.
The speakeasy will be run by Biscuits & Jams, so guests can expect the same warm hospitality, inventive Southern flavors, and quality service that have made the restaurant a local favorite.
While an opening date for The Juke Speakeasy has not yet been announced, the establishment is currently hiring for several positions.
Cimas, IBIS, CRU… Who comes up with these names?? Why is Memphis the land of side bashed cars, ten month old establishments, grant fraud, inedible fast food and Aids? We are a one headlight kinda town.
