The team behind Seaspice is adding a new fine-dining experience to the Miami River with the debut of AIR by Seaspice this winter.

Located above Seaspice (412 NW N. River Drive) and overlooking the river and Miami skyline, AIR will be an intimate French-Asian restaurant led by executive chef Vinh Nguyen. The centerpiece will be a nine-course tasting menu combining French culinary techniques with Asian influences.

The menu will evolve throughout the year based on seasonal ingredients and the kitchen’s ongoing development, with dishes emphasizing precision and balance. Diners will be able to choose from a curated wine list or opt for tiered wine pairings designed to accommodate everyone from casual wine drinkers to collectors. A separate cocktail program will take a similarly technique-driven approach.

The restaurant’s design draws inspiration from the interior of a private luxury yacht, incorporating nautical details, craftsmanship and panoramic views intended to give guests the feeling of boarding a private vessel.

AIR will have a limited number of seats, allowing the restaurant to emphasize personalized service and carefully paced dining. The concept is positioning itself as a more intimate and elevated counterpart to Seaspice, the longtime waterfront restaurant below.
