I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!

Cold Stone Creamery plans to expand its Florida footprint with a new location at 885 E. Commercial Blvd. in Oakland Park, according to business filings.

The upcoming location will join nearby Cold Stone Creamery shops in Tamarac, Fort Lauderdale, Pompano Beach, Coconut Creek, Plantation, Hollywood, Cooper City, Coral Springs and Aventura.

The ice cream chain, which has been around for more than three decades, is known for its customizable creations, mixing churned ice cream with guests’ choice of candy, fruit, nuts and cake right in front of them.

Cold Stone Creamery also offers signature creations, including “Chocolate Devotion,” featuring chocolate ice cream, chocolate chips, brownie and fudge; “Birthday Cake Remix,” with cake batter ice cream, rainbow sprinkles, brownie and fudge; and “Don’t Cry Over Spilled Silk,” made with Silk chocolate almond milk, banana, peanut butter and roasted almonds for those seeking a dairy-free option.

Ice cream cakes, milkshakes and smoothies round out the menu.

“How good is our ice cream? Well, let’s just say that on a scale of 1 to 10, we’re somewhere around an 11.5. But we’re about more than just serving up amazing ice cream. We like to think we’re really in the business of making people happy,” the website reads.

The franchisee recently filed plans in September, so an official opening date has not yet been announced.
