A new Honduran-style cafe is preparing to open near the intersection of Davie Boulevard and Southwest 36th Avenue in Fort Lauderdale. Cafecito Bar, which will serve coffee, breakfast, and lunch, is working to open its doors at 3569 Davie Boulevard.
“The menu is pretty basic,” a representative of Cafecito Bar told What Now on Thursday. “We’ll have baleadas, croquetas, pastelitos, and things like that.”
The menu will also feature a number of breakfast choices like hotcakes with bacon and eggs, along with a kids’ menu with items like chicken fingers and fries. All this will be served in a small, comfortable space with seating for about 18 guests.
The location on the northeast corner of the Davie-36th intersection is situated across the street from Sunset Presbyterian Church, in a small retail center that is also home to Seentia Nutrition Center and local smoothie spot 0.2 Smoothie Boosters Nutrition.
