WASAII Buffet signed a lease at Hallandale Shopping Center, 1710 E Hallandale Beach Blvd, in Hallandale Beach, occupying 12,548 square feet with a full-service Asian buffet concept spanning Chinese and Japanese cuisine alongside hot pot dining. Owner Caifeng Li confirmed the details directly to What Now Miami by email, saying the team is currently working through the final stages of preparation, with an opening targeted for 2027 and an official date to be announced once everything is finalized.
Li described the concept as combining Japanese-inspired cuisine, sushi, seafood and grill in an all-you-can-eat format, with the goal of offering real variety and a genuine dining experience rather than just a large selection of food. “For us, it is not only about having a large selection of food,” Li said. “We want to create a restaurant where the food is fresh, the environment is welcoming, and families and friends can enjoy different dining experiences together.” Li added that the broader goal is combining quality, variety, freshness and a modern atmosphere so every guest can find something they enjoy.
According to Cohen Commercial Realty, which announced the lease on May 14, Bryan S. Cohen and Chris McCarthy of the firm represented landlord Precise Property in the transaction.
“WASAII Buffet is not just about opening another restaurant,” Li said. “We want to create a place where people can come together, celebrate, enjoy great food, and make memories. We hope WASAII can become a place that feels welcoming to everyone, and we can’t wait to see you at WASAII Buffet.”
