Wing Snob is preparing to open its first South Florida location in Davie as the Michigan-based chicken chain expands its footprint in the Sunshine State.
Quality Wings LLC has filed permit applications with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation to open a restaurant at 6815 Stirling Road. An official opening date has not been announced.
Founded in 2017 by Brian Shunia and Jack Mashini, Wing Snob got its start in Livonia, Michigan, before expanding through franchising. Wing Snob’s official directory currently lists restaurants across 10 states, with the bulk of its locations in Michigan and Illinois. QSR Magazine reported that Wing Snob had planned to expand to Florida. Currently, the chicken wing chain has one Florida restaurant currently open. The Davie restaurant will mark the first in South Florida with, hopefully, more to come.
The chain specializes in made-to-order chicken wings, including traditional and boneless varieties, with customers choosing from an extensive selection of sauces and dry rubs. The menu also features chicken tenders, chicken sandwiches, crispy chicken minis, cauliflower wings and fries, along with sides and desserts.
