From two industry professionals and friends, Matthieu Yamoum and Philippe Vasilescu, comes a new retail and dining concept to Miami. On Thursday, What Now Miami connected with Yamoum to discuss Maison Mura.

It will be located at 333 SE 3rd Ave, where it will be just across from Bayfront Park and other concepts, like: Boulud Sud and Novikov Miami.

According to a write-up from the New Times, Maison Mura will have thousands of bottles of wine and spirits for retail sale, tasting or enjoying with light foods. Yamoum, who has an extensive experience in the restaurant industry, wants to avoid turning the concept too heavily into a restaurant, but they will offer easily prepared food to their guests, like caviar, charcuterie boards and other high-end, easy foods.

There will also be a private dining room that guests can book, and Maison Mura will cater from local restaurants that their guests request.

While some stores may be focused on driving a high volume of customers and sales, Yamoum would rather emphasize a personal and detail-oriented experience for their guests.

“I come from luxury hospitality; I love doing this, having clients that come back because they get the best service,” Yamoum told What Now Miami. “But you get to build a relationship with them, bond with them. They become friends; they become family. Doing business in these conditions for me is the best.”

To add a personal touch, the brand is looking to roll out a membership program with perks like exclusive events and tastings. A house car and water craft is also in the works for deliveries and returning clients home safely if they’ve had too much to drive.
