51st Deli is listed for a 2027 opening at 730 8th Avenue South in Nashville’s Gulch neighborhood, in the former Fat Kat Slims space, according to information provided by Nichole K. Herold. The planned location comes as the Nashville-based business prepares to expand into additional neighborhoods, with East Nashville also identified as an upcoming market in a recent Instagram post.

In its Instagram announcement, 51st Deli reflected on how the business has grown from a small idea in The Nations neighborhood of West Nashville. The company thanked customers for supporting its growth and said it was looking forward to reaching new areas, naming both East Nashville and The Gulch as locations coming soon. The post did not provide specific opening dates for either expansion.

The deli’s official website shows a menu that goes beyond traditional sandwiches. Breakfast is served all day, with options including breakfast Reubens, breakfast burritos, bagels, omelets and breakfast tacos. Its signature sandwich lineup includes The West/Nasty, made with breaded chicken, capicola ham, jalapeño, bacon, pepper jack cheese and Sabi sauce, as well as the 51st Philly, which features rib-eye or chicken with American cheese, grilled onions and peppers.

The menu also includes tacos, burritos, quesadillas, tortas, birria tacos, salads and specialty sides such as carne asada fries and elote. For drinks, 51st Deli serves locally roasted 8th & Roast coffee, along with espresso beverages, lattes, matcha, freshly squeezed juices and smoothies, according to its website.

The company’s official locations page currently lists four Tennessee-area locations: The Nations, West End Avenue and Charlotte Pike in Nashville, along with a Brentwood location. The website provides addresses and contact details for each, illustrating the business’s existing regional footprint as it prepares for further expansion.

The company’s Instagram post identifies East Nashville as another upcoming market, though no specific address or timeline was provided for that location.
