Nashville’s iconic Bluebird Cafe is expanding beyond its longtime Green Hills home with Bluebird East, a new satellite venue inside the forthcoming Nissan Stadium at 1 Titans Way, Nashville. The first satellite in the Bluebird Cafe’s history is expected to open when the new stadium debuts in February 2027, bringing the venue’s songwriter-focused experience into one of Music City’s biggest new entertainment destinations.

According to Nissan Stadium, the partnership is designed to support Nashville’s songwriting community through performances, emerging-writer opportunities, music education and community initiatives.

Rather than replacing the original Bluebird Cafe, Bluebird East will add another chapter to the 44-year-old Nashville institution. The Bluebird Cafe’s official website identifies its longtime home at 4104 Hillsboro Pike, Nashville, TN 37215, where the intimate listening room is known for its signature “in the round” format and songwriter performances.

Inside the new stadium, Bluebird East will sit behind the East Bowl stage on the east end-zone side, giving the concept a direct connection to the stadium’s performance infrastructure. Sports Business Journal reported that the space could accommodate songwriter rounds and smaller performances while also serving as a green room and hospitality area for artists appearing at the stadium.

Food and drinks are already part of the experience at the original Bluebird Café, which publishes food and beverage menus and requires a $15 per-person food and/or drink minimum for most shows. However, Bluebird East’s specific food menu has not yet been announced, so its future dining format remains to be revealed. The broader Nissan Stadium will feature extensive food and beverage offerings throughout the venue, with concessions ranging across Nashville favorites and traditional stadium fare.

The expansion also gives the Bluebird an opportunity to bring its songwriter-first identity to a much larger audience. According to Nissan Stadium, the space will be centered on the craft of songwriting, with the Titans and Bluebird exploring programming that can extend the experience beyond the physical venue itself.

The move comes as the new Nissan Stadium takes shape along the East Bank. NFL/AP reporting puts the project’s total cost at approximately $2.1 billion, with construction targeting completion in February 2027. The enclosed stadium will become the new home of the Tennessee Titans and is also positioned to host major concerts, sporting events and other large-scale entertainment.

Bluebird East will not be the only established Nashville name making its way into the new stadium. Robert’s Western World is also set to open its first-ever satellite location inside the venue, adding another recognizable piece of the city’s music and honky-tonk culture to the stadium’s lineup.

For the Bluebird Cafe, the expansion keeps the focus where it has always been: on the songwriters behind Nashville’s music. But this time, that intimate storytelling tradition will have a new stage—and a much bigger neighborhood—in which to play.
