Buona Beef franchise owner Jesse Alvarez has a second location in the works in the Nashville market. Following the opening of his first location in Murfreesboro later this year, Alvarez plans to bring the concept to Hendersonville at 261 East Main Street, Alvarez shared in an email with What Now Nashville.

Alvarez’s first location will open in Murfreesboro, as previously reported by What Now Nashville. The 4,706-square-foot space will open in mid- to late summer, as the team is just beginning construction on the site at 2724 Roby Corlew Lane.

Alvarez shared that the Hendersonville location is still in the early stages of development and he hopes to open that location in the summer of 2026. The site is slated to be next to a new Starbucks and across from a new Chick-fil-a.

Joe and Peggy Buonavolanto opened Buona Beef in the Chicago area in 1981. Since then, the brand has grown to nearly 30 locations and is eyeing multiple markets across the U.S. for franchise locations.

The spot is known for roast beef sandwiches. It also serves burgers, Chicago-style hot dogs, pizza and chicken sandwiches.
