Harvey’s New York Style Bagels is expanding into Middle Tennessee, with Smyrna among the communities selected for a planned location. The Charleston-based concept is also planning a Downtown Nashville shop as part of a six-location expansion in the Nashville area, according to Williamson Source.
Williamson Source reported that Harvey’s Bagels announced the expansion on social media after building its reputation in Charleston. Planned Middle Tennessee locations include Downtown Nashville, Berry Hill, Belle Meade, Franklin and Smyrna, while the company is also scouting additional communities including Brentwood, Mt. Juliet, Hendersonville and Green Hills. No address or opening date has been announced for the Smyrna location.
Harvey’s New York Style Bagels is a new concept from Joe Harvey, co-owner of Ruby’s New York Style Bagels. The Nashville Business Journal reported in January that the company was pursuing multiple Nashville-area locations, including sites in Berry Hill and West Nashville.
Williamson Source reported that the planned Harvey’s shops will range from approximately 1,300 to 2,000 square feet and will operate during breakfast and lunch. The menu is expected to feature a variety of bagels and bagel sandwiches, along with coffee and signature drinks such as an Almond Joy latte and white chocolate latte.
For now, Smyrna joins Harvey’s growing list of planned Middle Tennessee locations, though additional details about the site and timeline have yet to be announced.
