Noko Hospitality is preparing to open Noko Yaki, an Asian-inspired neighborhood steakhouse at 3201 West End Avenue, the former home of Tin Angel. According to Nashville Guru, the restaurant is expected to open this summer, while the concept’s official website currently lists it as “Coming Soon.”
As previously reported by the Nashville Business Journal, Noko Yaki is the third concept from partners Jon Murray, Wilson Brannock, and Executive Chef Dung “Junior” Vo, following the success of East Nashville’s wood-fired restaurant Noko and the adjacent omakase concept Kase x Noko.
According to Bon Appétit, Noko Yaki will center on an Asian-inspired steakhouse experience with an emphasis on tableside grilling. The publication recently included the restaurant among its most anticipated openings of the summer, highlighting the group’s continued expansion in Nashville.
Nashville Guru reports that the restaurant will occupy the former Tin Angel building, a longtime West End fixture that closed in 2019 after more than two decades in business. The concept’s official website also invites guests to join a mailing list for updates ahead of the opening.
WhatNow Nashville will continue to follow Noko Yaki’s progress and share additional details, including an official opening date, as they become available.
