The newest restaurant project from Milkshake Concepts is set to open this spring in Nashville by owner Imran Sheikh. Vidorra will feature a unique take on traditional Mexican-style food with its location at 800 Broadway.
According to Sheikh, the restaurant is one of three from his hospitality group to open within the next few months. Milkshake Concepts also plans to open The Finch and Harper’s Steakhouse, sometime in the spring of this year.
Though a grand-opening date is not yet confirmed, Sheikh told What Now Nashville that the plan is to open within the next few months. The specific details are still in development.
The existing three locations of Vidorra are in Texas, where the hospitality group Milkshake Concepts is based. According to its website, Vidorra aims to “celebrate Mexican food, drink and culture.”
“Meaning ‘the good life’, the restaurant offers bold and exciting Mexican flavors along with a large tequila selection, unique cocktail program, and lively social experience,” the website states.
The menu of the Nashville location is expected to be similar to its other locations and may include its signature smoked brisket tamales, Mexican pizza, fried avocado tacos, and fire-roasted salmon.
What will make the Nashville location of Vidorra different from its predecessors are its four stories of dining and event spaces, including plans for a tequila tasting room, as well as its desirable placement right on Broadway near popular honky tonk bars.
