A new tenant is heading to Nashville Yards. The development announced in a release that The Wine Bar will be heading to the Southwest Value Partners development, which will also be opening entertainment venue The Pinnacle next year.
The new concept comes from Just Love Coffee CEO Alan Thompson, former Tennessee Titans star Keith Bulluck, and Dave Nava, owner of Tennbrands, LLC.
“I live close to Nashville Yards and I’ve seen it come up from nothing and I’ve had interest in that property,” Thompson said. “When I got to know that property better, I knew it would be a good location for this wine bar concept.”
Thompson and Bulluck previously collaborated to open another wine bar, Vintage Vine 100, in Franklin in 2021. Thompson told What Now Nashville that The Wine Bar will be similar in that it will offer global wines and flights, but it will also have more extensive cocktail offerings. The Wine Bar will also offer a tapas menu.
The concept will have both indoor and outdoor spaces, including a glass-enclosed patio that will seat 150 and offer views of the development’s green space, Ascension Saint Thomas Landing. There also will be live piano music and space for hosting private events.
The spot will open in mid-2025. Thompson said they are finalizing the design plans and entering the permitting process, so there is no precise timeline for opening at this time.
“The Wine Bar at Nashville Yards is designed to be a community space for wine enthusiasts and those looking to explore new tastes and experiences,” Bullock and Nava said in a joint statement, according to the release. “We’re creating a destination where exceptional wines and a welcoming atmosphere come together to celebrate the art of hospitality in the heart of downtown. We are excited to share this vision with the community.”
