East Asian restaurant Boru Ramen and its affiliated Sweet Society dessert shop have been winning over fans based out of the multi-use Electric Depot complex in Baton Rouge. The owners behind the two businesses are preparing to relocate to a nearby brick-and-mortar at 4957 Essen Ln. They’re also planning to add a third concept under the same roof: an arcade filled with claw machine games. What Now New Orleans has reached out for more information.
Boru Ramen is known for offering two types of traditional Japanese noodles for its ramen bowls, as well as unique Japanese appetizers. Likewise, Sweet Society offers unique Asian desserts. For example, the Ube Crunch ice cream features (Filipino) ube and (Korean) dalgona candy. The new location will include a self-serve boba tea bar.
