Bayou Bella Grub is a recently rebranded fast casual spot bringing a signature blend of Louisiana flavor and sweet treats to the Bayou Vista development in Morgan City. Relocating from Patterson, the concept operates partly as a Brooke’s Sno-World franchisee, offering a menu that balances hearty, Cajun-inspired proteins with well-known snoballs the Acadiana brand is known for. A menu for the upcoming spot posted to Facebook listed proteins like honey garlic salmon bites, Cajun butter beef bites, and blackened or lemon pepper fish. These are served with a choice of two sides, including jasmine rice, roasted sweet potatoes, and glazed carrots. The menu also features a selection of bowls, such as shrimp taco bowls, hamburger bowls, and red beans and rice.
The move marks a significant evolution for owner Leah Ruffin, who formerly operated the business under the name Main Street Grub. Ruffin recently shared on social media that while the doors are not yet open, the team is working behind the scenes to provide “good food and southern flavor served with love and gratitude,” though an official opening date has not been set. What Now New Orleans has reached out for more information regarding the transition and an expected opening timeline.
