Nashville-style hot chicken chain Blazin’ Hot Chicken is continuing its rapid expansion across Southern Louisiana, with plans for a another location in Lafayette Parish. The Lake Charles–founded chain is moving into a former Dickey’s Barbecue Pit space in Carencro, where renovation work has been underway for several weeks, according to Developing Lafayette. Interior updates currently in progress include fresh paint and custom artist murals. The upcoming restaurant marks the third location for the brand in the Lafayette market. Known for its spicy chicken tenders, sandwiches, wings, and specialty items like the Mac & Cheese Crunchwrap, Blazin’ Hot Chicken has multiple outposts across Southern Louisiana, including a location on Canal Street.
