New Orleans may be known for po-boys, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t room for submarine sandwiches. According to a permit filing with the city, a Firehouse Subs location is being planned for a former Subway at 2700 S Claiborne Ave. Ste. 102. The permit filing is only for minor renovations. What Now New Orleans has reached out for more information.

In official descriptions online, the upcoming Firehouse Subs location is described as specializing in hot subs made with “premium meats and cheeses, steamed to perfection,” and piled high on a proprietary roll. It is scheduled to be open daily from 10 a.m. or 11 a.m. into the early evening.
