After operating as a pop-up serving Vietnamese sandwiches at the NOLA Nite Market and in downtown Lafayette, Banh Mi House is preparing to open a brick-and-mortar location in the Acadiana city. When it opens at 302 Jefferson St. in Lafayette, Banh Mi House will offer a range of its namesake sandwiches with different fillings, such as Korean pork barbecue, bang bang shrimp, or Vietnamese grilled pork. Currently, every sandwich is priced at less than $10.
The new restaurant will also have Vietnamese-style coffee, boba tea, matcha, croissants, bagels, and egg tarts. Co-owner Pamela Le also owns the Dream House Café in Marrero, and according to reports, Banh Mi House will offer the café’s house-made macarons and pastries.
