Bed-Stuy’s Shipwreck Seafood Boutique is continuing to expand with a new outpost coming to 271 Grand St. in Williamsburg soon.

Last year, the seafood shop opened a smaller second location, Wreck, at 627 Throop Ave., that focuses on serving fried fish and french fries. This week, owner Joey Lugo took to Instagram to unveil the newest location coming to Williamsburg. The popular seafood shop serves high-quality fresh fish and seafood, specializing in wild daily catches with 30 to 40 species available. It is known for dishes including its fish fry platters, crab cakes, reasonably priced lobster rolls and salads.

“This place is the best,” a testimonial on their website reads. “You won’t get seafood as fresh as this anywhere else in Brooklyn. Great flavour and great fries.”

They add, “Joey and his crew are a fantastic asset to the neighbourhood. There’s a good reason this local favourite is hugely popular.”
