A swanky new restaurant called Rendezvous is set to hit Manhattan in space formerly home to Tsaôcaa & Bào (which was renamed Hey Tea & Hey Chick before closing after a nine-month run.)
The ever-popular Lower East Side neighborhood in Manhattan will soon gain another culinary gem. Rendezvous, a French bistro-style restaurant and bar, is the latest food and beverage venture to come from Ryan Chadwick, a well-known serial entrepreneur.
Chadwick’s success can be seen in other hospitality ventures in the greater New York City area such as Canary Club and Grey Lady, both popular hangout spots for those looking for unique drinks and bites along with hip music.
His latest establishment, Rendezvous, will be located at 109 Ludlow Street, between Rivington Street and Delancey Street, just a short distance away from the two restaurants mentioned above, according to a liquor license application filed with the city.
Plans submitted show a menu with French staples such as croque monsieur, steak au poivre, pomme frites, and crème brûlée. And with three bars, a weekly DJ, and food served until close, patrons will be able to keep the fun going all night long.
Chadwick was not immediately available for comment Monday and the liquor license, filed on June 1, 2021, is still “pending.”
