Vintage Green, the newest – and largest – rooftop from IGC Hospitality (Refinery, Royalton Park Avenue and Glass Ceiling rooftops) offers a unique indoor/outdoor dining, cocktail and performance space atop the Shelburne Sonesta Hotel in Murray Hill. The 11,000-square-foot space pays homage to the parks scattered throughout the city by combining sophisticated New York City design elements and a charming garden atmosphere that offers city skyline views from a wrap-around terrace. Several seating areas provide a variety of dining and drinking experiences that feature New York City-centric culinary treats – such as hotdogs, oysters, and caviar service provided by Chef Chris D’Ambrosio (formerly of Bouley). Beverage Director Nancy Santiago’s elevated, unique, and classic cocktails complete the dining experience.
To bring the park experience to life, live, immersive art and augmented reality entertainment curated by Sylvana Levy SLXG’OBAL (The Box, The Core Club, SXSW) will appear on the rooftop throughout the summer, providing pop-up performances that one might see while strolling through a park – jugglers, musicians, skateboarders, magicians, breakdancers and more! Choreographed by Stefanie Batten Bland (SBB,Sleep No More, Life and Trust), performers include actor Doug Gillespie (Life and Trust), actress Leslie Kraus (Sleep No More, Drowned Man), Dan Safer and Blaise Serra, winner of this year’s Choice Magician award by the International Brotherhood of Magicians.
With venues in New York City (Manhattan and Queens) and Orlando, FL, IGC Hospitality is committed to creating unparalleled hospitality destinations.
