Flatiron is about to catch a scent with a renowned fragrance retailer planning to open a new location next year.

Bath & Body Works will open its latest Manhattan store at 129 Fifth Ave., spanning 9,000 square feet across two levels, according to Traded NY.

Each shop sells a wide range of personal care and home fragrance products, including scented candles, body lotions, fragrances and soaps.

Bath & Body Work is known for signature scents such as Sweet Pea, introduced in 2002, and Japanese Cherry Blossom, launched in 2006 and named the brand’s top fragrance of all time by WWD/Beauty Inc. in 2022. Other popular fragrances include Warm Vanilla Sugar and A Thousand Wishes.

The retailer opened its first store in Boston in 1990 and rapidly expanded, reaching 50 locations by the following year and 500 by 1996. Today, the retailer operates 1,927 company-owned stores across the United States and Canada, along with more than 500 international locations.

The team is targeting a fall 2027 opening. Visit the Bath & Body Works website and follow along on Instagram and Facebook for the latest updates.
