A Davie, Florida-based clinical laboratory and diagnostic services provider has filed for bankruptcy. American Health Associates Holdings, Inc. has taken this step after almost 36 years of operations.

The latest case records show that the debtor faces over $4 million in unsecured claims. Twelve affiliates also filed separately, pointing to a broader restructuring effort.
