Chipotle Mexican Grill will bring back its original margarita for a limited time ahead of Halloween. The $6 margarita will be available at one Chipotle restaurant in each of five cities as part of the ‘Summon the Spirits Tour.’ The tour will run throughout the month and lead into the return of Boorito on October 31.

Chipotle Revives Its Original Margarita

According to press release, Chipotle is bringing back the margarita after previously removing it from the menu. The chain cited increased demand from fans on social media for the drink, prompting the return as one of its Halloween offerings.

The Chipotle margarita features five ingredients, including premium tequila, citrus juice, triple sec, agave nectar, and a fresh lime wedge. The drink is available to guests 21 and older.

The $6 margarita will be available from 3 to 9 p.m. local time every Friday and Saturday in October. The promotion will take place at one participating Chipotle restaurant each weekend.

Stephanie Perdue, the Senior Vice President of Brand Marketing, said, “Fans never stopped talking about our margaritas after they left the menu, so Halloween felt like the perfect time to revive a Chipotle classic.”

The Margarita Tour Will Stop in Five Cities

The tour will begin in Denver, where Chipotle was founded, on October 2 and 3. The pop-up will take place at 2760 S. Colorado Blvd., Denver, Colorado 80222.

The tour will continue to Brooklyn on October 9 and 10, with the pop-up at 185 Montague St.

Dallas will host the promotion on October 16 and 17 at 2401 Victory Park Lane. This stop will offer both the original Chipotle Margarita and a frozen version.

The Los Angeles stop is scheduled for October 23 and 24 at 7660 W. Sunset Blvd., Los Angeles, California 90046.

The tour will conclude in New Orleans on October 30 and 31 at 2801 Magazine St., New Orleans, Louisiana 70115, ahead of Halloween.

Halloween Pop-Ups Planned at Select Restaurants

Chipotle will transform the participating restaurant locations into temporary “Summon the Spirits Tour” pop-up experiences. The events will feature margarita bars, interactive activities, Halloween décor, and opportunities for guests to get Chipotle prizes.

The tour will feature different “Spirit” themes at each stop. It will culminate during Halloween weekend in New Orleans and lead into the chain’s yearly Boorito event on October 31. The company said Boorito will return with an in-restaurant entrée offer. Additional details for this year’s promotion have not been announced.

Chipotle had more than 4,200 restaurants as of June 30, 2026. These are spread across the United States, the U.K., Canada, Germany, France, and the Middle East. The company also has around 140,000 employees.
