The ingredient can possibly cause an allergic reaction in those who are allergic or sensitive to milk. The FDA published the recall notice on its website on April 29 for the attention of consumers who may have purchased the product.

Trader Joe’s Issues Voluntary Salad Recall Over Allergen Concern

Trader Joe’s Sesame Miso Salad with Salmon is supposed to come with a packet of crispy onions. However, the products that have now been recalled have been mistakenly packaged with a sealed packet of Parmesan cheese crumbles, the alert said.

Taylor Fresh Foods Illinois produced the affected product. The notice stated that the voluntary recall does not apply to any of the other products or brands produced or distributed by the company.
