A landmark Mexican staple, Maria’s Buena Cocina is preparing to shut its doors permanently. After 30 years in Highland, the owners have decided to retire and close the restaurant.
Maria’s Buena Cocina To Close Highland Location
Located in the heart of downtown Highland, Maria’s Buena Cocina is a community favorite spot. It is well-known for serving fresh and locally sourced ingredients, along with a relaxed dining experience. Menu items include Caldo de Pollo, Tostadas, Pozole, and Carne Asada.
The restaurant announced the closure on social media. The post read, “Our final day of service will be Saturday, September 26th.”
The owners excitedly noted that after more than 30 wonderful years of service, “we are officially announcing our retirement!”
“Serving you all at Maria’s Buena Cocina has been one of the greatest blessings of our lives,” stated the owners in the post. They also encouraged customers to visit before the restaurant closes.
“Please stop by before our last day—we would love to see you, share one last meal, and give you a proper thank you and hug!” read the farewell message.
