Starbucks Coffee Company will be remodeling its store located at 2013 E Ball Rd. in Anaheim, records show. The java chain submitted renovation plans to the Orange County Health Care Agency’s Environmental Health Division late last month.
The company’s plans were marked as “received” on February 26 on the county’s website. It is described as a “food remodel” of the property, which is located by Angel Stadium and the Honda Center.
The refurbishment aligns with the company’s larger nationwide initiative to remodel a number of stores with increased technological capabilities and accessibility features. While the location will temporarily close while work is completed, there are four other Starbucks stores within a few miles.
Recent reports state Starbucks plans to grow by approximately 4% this year in the United States. The business, which was started in 1971, currently has more than 38,000 stores around the world.
