Coco Bloom Coffee is bringing its specialty coffee program to Newport Beach with a new location planned for 1500 W. Balboa Blvd.

Founder Chloe Wilhite confirmed the project to What Now, sharing that the café is currently working through the permitting process and is targeting an opening in early 2027.

“I’ve always wanted to open in Newport as well, but it’s kind of working out as great timing,” Wilhite said.

Founded from Wilhite’s passion for specialty coffee, Coco Bloom Coffee began with a mobile espresso concept designed to bring handcrafted beverages to weddings, private events, and community gatherings. Inspired by the connections formed over a cup of coffee, the business has grown into a neighborhood café focused on creating a personalized experience for every guest while fostering a strong sense of community.

The café offers a menu of specialty espresso drinks, brewed coffee, matcha, teas, and a selection of light café fare in a welcoming atmosphere.

The brand also prides itself on roasting coffee beans sourced sustainably from around the globe, guaranteeing quality in every cup.

Although an official opening date has not yet been announced, the upcoming Newport Beach location marks another milestone for the growing local brand as it expands its presence in Orange County.
