The Taco Stand is preparing to expand its Orange County footprint with a new location planned for 7300 Great Park Blvd. in Irvine, bringing its popular Tijuana-style street food to one of the region’s fastest-growing communities.
Founded with inspiration from the street vendors of Tijuana and Baja California, The Taco Stand has earned a devoted customer base by preparing many of its ingredients from scratch every day. The menu features carne asada, al pastor, pollo, carnitas, shrimp, and vegetarian tacos, along with burritos, quesadillas, fries, churros, and house-made salsas. Fresh tortillas and guacamole are also made in-house, helping distinguish the fast-casual concept from traditional taco chains.
The upcoming restaurant will serve residents of the Great Park Neighborhoods, a rapidly expanding master-planned community that continues to attract new restaurants and retailers as development progresses. The addition will provide another convenient dining option for locals seeking authentic Mexican flavors in a casual setting.
The Taco Stand currently operates several locations throughout Southern California and has continued expanding as demand for its Baja-inspired menu grows.
While the company has confirmed plans for the Irvine location, an official opening timeline has not yet been announced. Once open, the restaurant is expected to offer both dine-in and takeout service, giving area residents another destination for freshly prepared tacos, burritos, and other Mexican favorites.
